A Year in Review: Why We Moved to Our New Location

It’s hard to believe that it’s been a whole year since we moved from our old retail location on Halsted Street to our new spot on 18th Street. We’ve had a lot of you ask about why we made the move, and we wanted to take a moment to share the story behind it.
Why the Move?
Many people assume that business owners own their space, but in reality, most of us are renters, navigating the complexities of leases and landlord relationships. After a fulfilling five-year lease at our previous location, we reached a crossroads. Our lease had expired, and as our business continued to grow and evolve, it became clear that we needed a space that better suited our changing needs.
The decision to move wasn’t straightforward. We faced some unexpected construction delays, which extended our stay at the old location by five months longer than planned. But despite these challenges, we were determined to find a space that would allow us to operate more efficiently and enhance your experience with us.
Why We Love the New Location
Our new location on 18th Street has been everything we hoped for and more. It’s designed to accommodate our expanding team and improve our workflow, which in turn helps us serve you better. From a more accessible layout to updated facilities, the new space allows us to bring you even more of what you love. We are not as street level as before however we are still easy to access but cannot say the same as far as parking goes. We encourage folks to park south and walk over to 18th Street for ease.
