Shipping & Returns

Shipping Information:

At Chocolat Uzma, we take great care in packing each order by hand. We are proud to partner with both the United States Post Office (USPS) and UPS to provide you with faster and more reliable shipping options.

General Shipping:

After placing an order online, please allow us 24-48 hours for processing and shipping. Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number via Pirate Ship, our integrated shipping software. While we make sure to pack each order with care, please note that we are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen packages once they have left our shop. In the event of any issues, please contact USPS or UPS directly.

Shipping Fee:

We do not know the exact shipping cost with USPS or UPS, but if the shipping cost is less than what you paid, we will refund the difference to you. For example if we charge you $12 for shipping and the actual cost is $9 we will refund you $3. 

Holiday Shipping:

Please note that UPS and USPS are experiencing delays due to an overwhelming amount of shipments. They have also stopped guaranteeing delivery. To avoid any delays, please order your holiday gifts in advance.

Warm Weather Shipping:

During warmer weather (above 75°F), we are unable to ship our chocolates as they may melt. However, we are currently working on an insulated shipping box that will be sent via UPS 2-day (coming soon). If you would like to place an order to be shipped during warmer weather, please note that there will be an additional fee of $12 for shippers with dry ice, and a $50 fee for UPS overnight and 1-day shipping.

Courier Service:

We are now offering courier services for in-person deliveries. Please give us at least 4-6 hours notice for holidays and 24-hour notice for other days. Rates vary by distance, with a rate of $17 for 1-10 miles and $23-$30 for 10+ miles.

Shipping Discounts:

We offer shipping discounts for large orders. Please email us at info@chocolat-uzma.com for more information.

RETURNS

At Chocolat Uzma, we guarantee that your order will arrive at the specified shipping address in good condition. We take pride in the quality of our products and want to ensure your complete satisfaction. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the quality of your order upon arrival, we're here to help.

Simply contact our Customer Care team info@chocolat-uzma.com within 48 hours days of receipt, with a detailed description and photograph(s) evidencing your dissatisfaction, and we will assist you with a replacement or exchange. We stand behind our products and will either reship the item or replace it with another of equal or greater value. Rest assured that a replacement or exchange will be shipped within 7-10 days.

Please note that all claims submitted without proper support will not be eligible for reshipment, due to the perishable nature of our chocolate. We also reserve the right to limit replacements and do not offer refunds.

To ensure that your order is delivered correctly, please provide the correct shipping address and include all necessary details such as company name, suite or apartment numbers. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the condition of the package if the carrier must reroute your order, but we will always do our best to help.

Please also note that we are not responsible for failed deliveries in the following circumstances:

  • Incorrect or outdated address provided
  • Recipient is out of town or not available
  • Corrected/new delivery address is not provided within 24 hours of the first delivery attempt

Shipments that are returned or require rerouting due to incorrect addresses will be subject to additional charges for reshipment and/or relabeling for the carrier.
